I thought they'd be cheap feeling/looking but they're not. For one the porcelain base they sit in is nicely done (they are removable by the way), the swords themselves and made of some nice steel, not like most cheap letter openers.
Although, truth be told, the miniatures are not that popular and I don't know why.

If I weren't collecting action figures and getting the life sized Anduril, I'd have bought all of the UC letter openers. they are SWEEEET.
check out the miniature Shards of Narsil though. the statue bas holding the shards is coolOverheard at a Malaysian cinema: Aiyar, that Lord of the Ling copy Hally Potter wan!
