We were discussing this in Favourite jewellery, and I've found that liquid soap is enough to keep my pieces clean, and that includes the Evenstar, although I don't have Nenya. All I do is wash the piece I've worn before putting it back in the box. The only piece I have to clean with silver polish is the One Ring, and that only because I wear it all the time, and it gets slight scratches.

Cleaning the Jewelry
Does anyone find the maintenance of the silver jewelry, a pain in the butt? I've noticed that my "Nenya" ring is never as silver as when I received it and the crystal is always clouding up. I've tried cleaners that you dip the jewelry in and the cloth. Now, I only wear my "Nenya" on special occasions. I wear my "Elven Star" necklace all the time (I put in on a silver chain), but not in the shower, because they didn't set the gems.
I want the "Evenstar" so bad, but just looking at it and thinking about the cleanng seems daunting.Higher purpose: I am here to serve. I am here to inspire. I am here to love. I am here to live my truth.

The best way to get that silver shining like it used to is to use a rouge cloth on all the surfaces you can of the ring or necklace after cleaning the gemstones in a liquid jewelry cleaner. You can pick up a rouge cloth at a jewelry store or even a place that sells instruments like flutes and piccolos. They work well on gold too, but silver is where you'll see the best results. Just so you don't freak out... when you're polishing your ring you'll see streaks on the cloth. This is normal.

It's a silver one, the only reason I didn't get gold is because I don't wear yellow gold, and white gold was very expensive, platinum even more so!

it might sound a bit old fashioned but if its silver try bicarbonate dust...we do have it hear and its sold at markets for several porpuses so i guess you might find it there too...you just have to use a cloth or even a tissue and just rub that against the piece you have to polish...i usually do that with other silver things and i get wonderful results
