Black Label games Formed

-- Posted by Fatty on Friday, August 16 2002 at 1:41 AM GMT

Whilst I thought that Black Label was a brand of lager, it actually turns out to be a brand-new, and rather ambitious, game development studio – formed by Vivendi Universal.

The new studio will be focussing on high-quality titles, designed to appeal to a mature audience, and as such Black Label’s first games will include ‘The Thing’, The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, and.....more

Well this adds to the complicated web of companies and delvelopers involved in The Lord of the Rings franchise. Still it sounds promising.

Oh and as a footnote, War of the Ring may just be hoping along to see how The Fellowsip of the Ring game is coming along. More soon along with the opening of the PC/Console section.

Keep your eyes peeled. The new section is on its way, later today. With previews of all the major games based on the movie and the books. More screenshots than you can shake your staff at and lots more.

See you there.
