Let's face it; even if this game sucked eggs, you'd still want to play it just because the Lord of the Rings trilogy endorses it. Just the chance to play as Gandalf itself should be full paisa vasool for fans of the series. Nonetheless as you've probably made out from the review score that this game doesn't suck; far from it, this game may just about be one of the finest movie games to grace our consoles in recent times. One Game to Rule them all Just as the previous installment "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" basically covered up the story of the first two movies, Return of the King (ROTK) starts the game from the concluding part of the second movie and gracefully moves on to the final chapter.....more

Today at a Game Developers' Conference session, Neil Young casually dropped a bombshell regarding his position in the Electronic Arts organization. Just before his presentation about the making of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, the famed producer introduced himself to an enthusiastic crowd as "the new head of Maxis."....more
