Positions eight to ten are held by EA titles, with Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King just beating FIFA 2004, which holds ninth place. First-person shooter Medal of Honor: Rising Sun still tweaks interest in tenth place.....more

The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Game: Roleplaying game fans will gain their own entrance to Middle-earth with Decipher's The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Game. The full game system launched in August 2002, with the Core Book, followed by the Narrator's Screen, The Fellowship of the Ring Sourcebook, and Fell Beasts and Wondrous Magic. (Those new to RPGs can get their feet wet with Decipher's introductory boxed Roleplaying Adventure Games.) Click for a full product release schedule.

Cashing in on some Oscar buzz, Aspyr Media Inc. announced that its Mac conversion of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King has reached its Beta development milestone. The game is coming this April.....more
